Meet Mike Norman
After a
successful college career at East Central Oklahoma State University,
Mike turned pro in 1981 where he has competed in many PGA Section
events and State Opens. However, Mike's true passion is teaching
others. He has gained over 25 years of experience from coast to
coast. He was recently voted the Midwest Section PGA teacher of the
Year by his peers. Mike's students range from professionals and top
amateurs to juniors and novice golfers.
Teaching Philosophy
Mike's
primary philosophy is to keep the swing as simple as possible by
teaching sound fundamentals and by eliminating unnecessary
movements. Each student has different goals, physical
characteristics, and time to practice. These are all taken into
consideration when developing a lesson/ practice plan. Students will
leave each lesson with a clear understanding of their swing and the
steps to take to continue improving. |
